The morning light slides across it and deepens its rich velvety feel and every morning it makes me pause and breathe.
I'm very grateful for all the people in this world who create from what Tolle calls "no mind.... inner stillness'' and then share those rich inner landscapes with the rest of us. I'm grateful to all the people who took a leap, entered my studio (or someone else's studio) saying "I only do stick figures" (or some other variant) and then gave themselves permission to paint.
I'm especially grateful for this painting and for my beautiful friend Sheila.

If you already have excellent sight, cover one eye and gaze at your world for several minutes. Take it in. Be amazed. Then, uncover your eye and look with both. Holy 3 Dimensional Toledo Batman! After you take that in, look again, this time with your full being. If you are anything like me, you will start crying.
What a world, what a world! How lucky we are to be here!
