Here are a few photos, courtesy of friends. I was having way too much fun visiting to take any photographs.
Two sessions of Let’s Play start this week – these will be the first group lessons offered in my home studio. Classes are full but I’m taking names for fall sessions. I’m pretty excited! The art supplies have arrived. I built three new fabulous easels. The room looks and feels great. I even installed an air conditioner because I am the eternal optimist who believes summer will arrive any day now….
There’s a fabulous show on currently at the TAG. “Through the Garden Gate” features 24 (I think) local artists and a wide range of visual arts - including stained glass, painting, mixed medium, fabric and clay.
The next event for me is Heritage Village on Canada Day – start of the Summer Arts Festival. I’ll be in the Lineman’s Cabin, which is way cool. I went up to meet the curator, Kelsey, who showed me my new digs. I wanted to move in. I wonder if they will let me sleep there on the 1st? There are great art events in Terrace all week long.
